About Us

About African Recipes Limited

African Recipes Limited was created out of a deep passion for African food, culture, and  community. African cuisine is rich, diverse, and deeply rooted in history, yet much of its knowledge,  authenticity, and cultural meaning is often overlooked or underrepresented. This platform exists to  change that.  Our vision is to preserve, celebrate, and promote African culinary heritage by bringing together  authentic recipes, cultural food stories, and creative voices from across Africa and the global  diaspora. Food is more than nourishment — it is identity, memory, tradition, and connection.  African Recipes Limited is not just a recipe website. It is a growing community and cultural hub  where home cooks, chefs, food bloggers, writers, and food lovers can share knowledge, inspire one  another, and keep African food traditions alive while embracing modern creativity.  We are passionate about authenticity, respect for cultural origins, and giving proper recognition to  the people and stories behind each dish. From traditional home-style meals passed down through  generations to contemporary interpretations of African cuisine, every contribution matters.  Our mission is to build a trusted platform that connects African food culture with the wider world —  supporting creators, educating audiences, and creating opportunities for collaboration, visibility, and  growth within the African food ecosystem.  At its heart, African Recipes Limited stands for pride in heritage, unity through food, and the belief  that African cuisine deserves global recognition, respect, and celebration.

Who We Are

African Recipes Limited was established to bridge the gap between authentic African cooking and the growing global demand for traditional, organic, and culturally meaningful foods. Rooted in Nigeria’s iconic soup culture, our company focuses on recipes, research, and products that highlight Africa’s timeless culinary  traditions. We are passionate about documenting traditional African recipes—especially soups—and transforming them into accessible guides, instructional content, and high-quality products for both African and international audiences.
